NES Dark Souls Trilogy Remake: Campaign Designs
I wanted to redo my passion project by expanding the scope and quality to demonstrate how my design skills have grown. I started by making flat designs of NES-style cover art for the three Dark Souls games, a social media campaign, in-store signage, a magazine cover ad, and a t-shirt design to advertise the NES-style remake of the games. I used Adobe Illustrator to make the t-shirt design and Adobe Photoshop to add the final touches to my designs. I created mockups, and I used the iPad app called Pixaki to make all my other flat designs. My inspiration for this project was elements from the original Dark Souls series. My target audience was men aged 25-40 who love dark fantasy, RPGs, challenging games, and who played NES games growing up, as well as people who have played the Dark Souls games before and want to re-experience them again.
